Come on down to our farm in Apex with your entire family, some friends, or just yourself for some old-fashioned strawberry picking.

Picking strawberries is the perfect opportunity to teach kids about where our food comes from or to remind yourself just how flavorful fresh berries and produce are supposed to taste.

Pick Your Own Strawberries

Taking a weekend drive to Peak City? DJ's Berry Patch is conveniently located near Peak City and a short distance from Raleigh and Cary. DJ's Berry Patch is the perfect place to stop to get some fresh air, stretch your legs and pick up some fresh strawberries for nibbling right at the farm and for bringing back home.

Pick your own to see, touch, and taste sweet ripe berries. Fields are open for Strawberry picking from late April thru mid May, depending on the weather. We provide the buckets!

We recommend that you wear sunscreen, a hat, long pants and sturdy shoes. And... don't forget to bring your camera!

Group Tours

Schools, Preschools and Daycare

Field trips and group outings for picking strawberries are always welcome. Please note that group tours are for school, preschools and daycare groups only and can be scheduled Monday thru Friday mornings. Tell us about your school group and DJ's Berry Patch will help you plan a memorable student trip to our farm. Please contact us to schedule your fun-filled time in our strawberry fields.

We also welcome other groups such as scout troops, church groups, sport teams, neighborhood associations and family celebrations to visit our fields at any time without advance notice. Simply show up at a day and time during our regular hours that is convenient for your group.
